My name is Andrea Roark. I am 34 years old, and my birthday is February 26th. I am married to a wonderful man named Jeff Roark. He teaches Social Studies at Maynard High School. We have two energetic little boys named Kyle and Karson. Kyle is 13 years old, and he is in seventh grade. Karson is 9, and he is in fourth grade now. Pets??? Oh boy, do we have pets!!! We have 1 cat, 2 turtles, 1 hedgehog and 4 dogs! Our cat is named Kallie. She is black and white, and very FAT!!! Our turtles are named Pettybones and Petree. One of our dogs, and the oldest of the four is named Rascal. Rascal is an Austrailian Shepherd. Two of the four dogs are Weiner dogs. Their names are Theodore and Simon. Theodore belongs to Karson, and Simon is Kyle's dog. The newest member of our pet family is a Chihuahua named Jilly Boo (the name comes from the Skippy Jon Jones books) Our hedgehog is named Briar. And no! Hedgehogs are NOTHING like a porcupine!!! ha!
One hobby that I absolutely love is photography!!! I take pictures of EVERYTHING!!! Everywhere I go, I always find something cool to photograph. I love finding beauty in everyday objects. Another Hobby I have is repurposing old furniture. I once created a kids couch from an old dresser! It is in my classroom now!!
I am a big fan of the ASU Red Wolves football team, Arkansas Razorbacks football team, and The St. Louis Cardinals baseball team. Ok, and because of my dear Brenten Cox, the Chicago Cubs. ;-) My family likes the Hogs so much, that we painted and decorated our basement family room in Razorback decor! It's pretty cool!!
